EcoVoom realizes you want proof that our Clean Energy Credits will
have a real impact in balancing your Carbon Footprint and helping with Climate
Change. To that end we’ve implemented a multi-step approach for verifying that
our projects produce nothing but high quality Clean Energy Credits. All of the
credits we purchase are directly connected to specific clean energy projects.
We believe this direct connection is important to our customers so that they can
track their support both locally and nationally.
Project Standards
All EcoVoom-supported projects will be verifiable, permanent and will meet certain industry standards. For more information on the standards for a particular EcoVoom product, please contact us at info@ecovoom.com.
Portfolio Standards
EcoVoom subscribes to managing its portfolio of clean energy products in a manner that balances:
- The quality of the renewable energy project;
- The geographic (local versus national) location of the project; and
- The price to create Clean Energy Credits.
Our internal review committee balances these three criteria to develop a project mix that optimizes project value with price for our consumers.
Disclosure and Reporting Standards
Every EcoVoom customer will receive an annual report prepared by a third party auditing firm verifying that sales equate with the actual number of carbon offsets that were purchased. This process is meant to ensure that Clean Energy Credits were actually purchased on your behalf. We will also provide you with periodic email updates as we make various offset purchases so that you can see how your support has both a local and global impact on Climate Change.
